“More” reflects on the absurdity of excess and the quiet elegance with which society disguises it. Laden with possessions and adornments, the figure balances beauty and burden, leaving a trail of waste behind. The work satirises our appetite for accumulation — the need to own, display, and consume, long after desire has lost its meaning.

In “More,” the figure stands as a wry portrait of modern consumerism — elegant, composed, and collapsing under the weight of its own abundance.

 

Every object, from handbags to trinkets and tiny dogs, is both trophy and tether. The creature’s poise suggests dignity, yet its extravagant load exposes a quiet desperation to maintain appearances.

Trailing behind it lies the debris of excess — the castoffs of a culture that values possession over purpose.

 

The muted palette and exquisite detail draw the viewer in, mirroring how consumerism seduces through surface beauty. Yet beneath the humour and fantasy is a melancholy truth: the more we gather, the less we see of what’s lost.
