The bird, a symbol of freedom and independence, is bound by a fine golden thread—threaded through its beak and tethered to a needle. What appears delicate is in fact restrictive, silencing expression and limiting autonomy.
 

The golden thread and the ring allude to the complexities of commitment: love and union on one hand, and the potential for manipulation or restraint on the other. The needle introduces a duality—it can mend, but it can also pierce and bind.
 

Through this imagery, the work examines how gestures of devotion may carry hidden implications of control, revealing the tension between intimacy, autonomy, and silence.
